SDSN Brazil

SDSN Brasil is an initiative of the United Nations that mobilizes scientific and technical expertise from academia, civil society, and the private sector, to provide solutions for sustainable urban development, focusing specifically on SDSN Global’s Thematic Group 09, "Sustainable Cities: Inclusive, Resilient and Connected". The network initial focus is the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro, with plan to gradually expand nationwide. The project was funded by GIZ, the German Agency for International Cooperation, under the supervision of the Columbia University.
